Our Mission – Why We Exist

“We are a diverse people who share a common bond: unity in devotion to Our Lady of Peñafrancia and her son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, through the concept of Pag-iribang (togetherness).”

In the spirit of Pag-iribang, we work as a team to jointly celebrate the annual feast of Our Lady of Peñafrancia by:

• Taking responsibility as a member organization and individual devotees to actively participate in the planning, dissemination and implementation of the liturgical, logistical, cultural, and social aspects of the annual celebration.
• Maintaining the dignity, respect, and integrity of the PB community, empower, educate, and create leaders from our community especially the youth.
• Providing a positive environment, creative outlets and alternative activities for our youth ministry
• Sharing and inspiring others to our unique gift from our Loving God – our devotion to INA, Our Lady of Peñafrancia.

Guiding Principles

NURTURING OUR FAITH AND DEVOTION - To anchor our expression of spirituality, we will openly practice our Catholic faith and actively spread the devotion to Our Lady of Peñafrancia. We shall continually seek guidance from the Archdiocese of Caceres  and our local clergy to ensure the liturgical correctness of our religious celebrations.

FAMILIES AS PILLARS OF OUR COMMUNITY – Family support is key to our success. To this end, we are committed to providing a wholesome and satisfying religious experience during our fiesta celebrations and other PB gatherings.

TEAMWORK – We are co-equals. At all levels, we work together to achieve our goals and to develop an ever richer and more involved community.

OPEN COMMUNICATION – We put a premium on open communication. Information and insights flow openly and dynamically in the PB community, enhancing creativity, engendering a sense of inclusion, and nurturing the efficient resolution of misunderstandings or conflict.

LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE - Our leadership involves as many as possible in service to the vision and continually cultivates more leaders particularly among the youth.

ACCOUNTABILITY – Leadership in the PB is viewed as a position of trust. Hence, we practice a rigorous dedication to our values and guiding principles by manifesting a deep sense of personal accountability for our commitments, actions, and community participation.
